Don’t let the lack of posts fool you; this blog has been more or less active since 2005. Twenty years! However, I recently decided to unpublished my 672 previous blog posts and start all over with a clean slate.
This blog started as a feeble attempt at experimental comedy, but before long it morphed into a blog about being a stay-at-home dad. I wrote about my kids, our adoption journeys, and my beautiful bride Bethany. It was a great way to document our lives and let friends and family members know what was happening in the Naughton household.
At times, my posts focused on other aspects of my life, too, such as my obsession with classic cars, my career as an educator, life in a small town, my political views, and my writing career.
After my eleven-year run as a columnist for the Boone County Journal came to an end, I focused more of my attention on spoiling my grandkids, leaving my blog underutilized.
Now that I’m working on my fifth book, a historical fiction novel, I thought it would be a good idea to re-boot this blog. From now on, it will serve as both an online bookstore and a way to keep my readers posted on my writing career.
Click the links on the right side of this page to buy any of my previous books, and watch for links to my future projects to appear in the coming months/years.
And thank you for giving me an audience over the last two decades. Hopefully, we’ll all still be around for the next two.
